Our Story

Growing plants has never been this easy.

Hey Plant lovers!

We’re a young couple who love to create beautiful terrariums and share our love of plants with everyone. We are based in Wai, Maharashtra, and have been creating closed terrariums for over 5 years.


We want to bring the beauty of plants into your life. We know that some people find plants tricky to grow, but don’t worry–we’re here to demystify your plant experience and make it a joyful one.

Our Philosophy

At the heart of our studio practice is a love of the shape and form of flowers, combined with a creative edge. We’re passionate about celebrating nature in our installations and working with seasonal flowers and foliage helps us to keep within nature’s own cycle. We are, and always have been, committed to finding ethical, sustainable solutions to the challenges within our industry. From using recycled packaging and wrapping, to donating waste flowers and plants to Flower Angels (a charity the promotes wellbeing through flowers), we are continually looking at ways to reduce our carbon footprint and benefit the local community.

Azar Shaikh - Founder

Hey, I’m Azar and I love to build & care for terrariums. I like to raise all sorts of interesting plants, explore my creative side & produce some kickass products in my studio.

I took up terrarium making after years of living in the city of Pune, where I completed my studies in Photography & Zoology.

For me, terrariums are the best way to add some life and nature to my home. I’ve learned a lot of valuable things from my terrarium failures and successes, as well as from spending years in forests and active wildlife habitats.

If you’re reading this, I imagine that you share my passion for plants and the environments they grow in. Hopefully, our terrariums help to inspire you and fuel your passion for plants! 

Back at our busy studio, surrounded by hanging gardens and a bathtub full of flowers, we begin sketching designs for our installations. We create designs for venues and clients the length and breadth of London – and further afield.

Isha Anil Padelkar - Head of Growth & Marketing

Hey, I’m Isha and as the Head of Growth & Marketing, I grow beautiful plants and… our The Forest Studio. I have 7 years of Digital Marketing and Project management experience which helps me contribute my skills to my husband’s dream.

Like many, I have also been a part of the corporate rat race and never had a chance to explore my love for plants and nature. Project delivery dates, team meetings, and spreadsheets consumed so much of my life that gardening was hectic for my busy schedule.

Hence, I have joined this mission with my husband to make gardening and plant care easy for busy people and bring this beautiful creation to your home.

We’ve worked in some of the capital’s most fascinating venues, including St Paul’s Cathedral, Claridge’s, RIBA and Kew Gardens and are pleased to be recommended by The Barbican, St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants.
